Pellet-gun shooting at Fort Carson under investigation

Fort Carson announced today that the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate a pellet-gun shooting incident that occurred on post in the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division area on Jan. 10 about 8:15 p.m.

“One Soldier, who received minor injuries during the incident, was treated at Evans Army Community Hospital and later released,” the release said.

Fort Carson Military Police secured the area and conducted a thorough search, but neither the perpetrator nor the weapon was located.
