Mitchell JROTC wins at drill meet

Mitchell High School Air Force JROTC hosted the Air Force Association Junior ROTC Drill Meet on Feb. 4 — and came away with two wins.

Six JROTC units competed at the meet in various events including Color Guard, Unarmed Exhibition, Inspection, and Unarmed Regulation.

Mitchell High School took home first place trophies in Color Guard (Lady Marauders) and Unarmed Exhibition (The Reds), Chief Master Sergeant David Figueroa (Ret.) of the Mitchell Air Force JROTC said.
