Open call auditions for the Iron Springs Chateau spring/summer 2023 melodrama, “All Trains Lead to Home … or … Training Places,” will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 19, or Monday, March 20, at the same time.
Rehearsals are 7-10 p.m. beginning Monday, April 10. Opening night is Friday, May 19. Shows run Friday and Saturday evenings until Sept. 23.
These are paid, non-equity positions.
This show is a musical comedy and requires actors with good comedic timing and vocal skills. Two or three men and two or three women will be cast.
Auditioning actors will be asked to:
- Sing an excerpt (maximum 1.5 minutes) from a prepared song. Please bring sheet music of a show tune or standard song. Karaoke-style backups are not permitted.
- Cold read one or more scenes the director has chosen.
- Dance a short piece the choreographer has created. (Please wear fitted clothing and appropriate shoes for dancing.)
